Building opportunity for all begins with providing quality public education from pre-kindergarten through college. It requires offering training for a wide range of career options for children and adults. District 54 has the resources to lead the state in education. As your State Representative, I will focus on strategies which maintain education quality at all levels.
I will champion investment in skilled trades apprenticeship opportunities to prepare the next generation for careers in building our communities’ future. Our nation was built by generations of carpenters, electricians, and countless more trade professionals. These jobs keep our economy running and pay upwards of $35 an hour, yet employers are struggling to find enough workers with this training. As your state representative, I will support opportunities that deliver for our economy and our residents.
